About Benjamin Tritt
Hello, I'm Ben Tritt and my Lending career began in SC as a loan officer in 2006 for American General Financial Services. Here I originated in real estate and consumer loans. After a year of hard work, I was promoted to Branch Manager. During this time my branch team produced the largest Real Estate volume gain in South Carolina. Our hard work was rewarded when I earned the S.E. Branch Manager of the Year award in both 2008 and 2009. In compliance with updated regulations, I then received my NMLS license in 2010. As a fully licensed South Carolina mortgage loan officer I specialize in FHA, VA, USDA, and Conventional lending. Let me tell you a story! Back in 2009 I worked with a customer to get their home refinanced to consolidate debts. On this particular loan there were serious hurdles. Local banks and credit unions were not willing to go the extra mile to overcome. After I met with both Borrowers I realized that their family situation mandated immediate and special attention. Knowing that it would be a long battle did not deter our resolve. The home was a lower valued property and had some title issues. However seeing the long term benefit for the couple was my sole focus. In a matter of three short weeks, we were able to overcome objections and reach final loan approval. At the attorney's office I learned that the benefits from this loan closing were the key to their hopes and dreams of staying in South Carolina with their children. Doing the right thing is a simple choice, and in this case it worked out great for all parties! Turns out that the employer of one of my borrowers needed a new lending connection, and as a result we developed one of my largest and longest lasting referral partnerships. My personal approach to every Borrower that I work with sets me apart! Using my interpersonal skills to connect with my clients in ways not expected from a mortgage banker makes the experience positively unique. I share the simple understanding that a company is only as good as its people. Our goals the Miller Team are set by the number of families that we help - not the amount of money we make. Treating people the way we want to be treated works just fine for us! When I was five, my entire family moved to Washington D.C after my Father's graduation from Clemson. Ten years later my Dad landed a position as a physics professor back at Clemson, and so we moved again to beautiful Upstate South Carolina. Mom went back to work for the same Elementary school where she helped local children 12 years earlier. I've been happily back in Anderson ever since then! As the proud Father of two girls ages 10 & 13, my spare time is spent doing homework, sharing learning moments with my girls, attending Clemson Football games, golfing and fishing.
