About Brent Blankenburg
Brent Blankenburg is, and always has been in the business of helping people. Before getting into the mortgage industry in 2013, Brent was a licensed Financial Advisor helping middle-class Americans prepare for retirement. As a Big Brother (through the Big Brother, Big Sister Program) he has also realized great potential for helping lower-income Americans with financial literacy, and dreams of developing an educational platform that will be palatable for the masses. He is also the Treasurer for a local community band called Rocky Mountain Brassworks, but if you ask what instrument he plays you might be surprised to hear, “Just QuickBooks”. Because of these life experiences and personality traits, Brent prides himself on helping those who feel underserved by the traditional lending channels. When he is not working, or volunteering his time, Brent has many hobbies. He has played soccer his whole life, and still plays on an adult men’s outdoor team. He is passionate about board sports, so in the winter he Snowboards, and in the summer he Wakeboards (or tries to surf if he is somewhere tropical). And depending on the time of year you can also find him; playing volleyball, gardening, rock climbing, mountain or road biking, doing yoga, backpacking/camping, golfing, playing Frisbee, traveling, or doing anything else outdoors. Just don’t ask him if he is up to date on any TV series because the answer is sure to be “No”!
