About Brett Chappell

Brett has been involved with multiple facets of the real estate and lending industries since 2000 and has held an active license with the California Bureau of Real Estate since 2002. He was in the first group of mortgage professionals to be licensed under the NMLS after it's inception. He has a great deal of experience, making him a valuable asset in any real estate transaction. His experience includes being an active REALTOR®, real estate office manager, mortgage broker and banker, net branch owner for a large mortgage banker, and more recently, a well-known speaker and real estate trainer. Brett was a featured speaker at the California Association of REALTORS® Annual Convention. He has presented for nationwide Short Sale Certification agencies, the AAREA REO & Short Sale Summit, several non-profit HUD counseling agencies, and the non-profit HELP Organization (Homeownership Education and Learning Program), to name a few. Brett was also interviewed on Fox 5 News San Diego, Univision Palm Springs, and has appeared on multiple syndicated radio programs for his expertise regarding the default market and the Mortgage Debt Forgiveness Act.
