About Buzz Dempsey
I have been originating loans since 1983. I spent nine of these years underwriting loans to ensure accurate and reliable loan approval. In my 30 years, I have amassed more than 6,000 on-time closings in Southern Arizona, resulting in more than $1.2 billion in closed loan volume. I am licensed in Arizona, California, Colorado, New Mexico, Washington, Illinois, and Texas. I am passionate about my clients and I am committed to meeting their needs and expectations. My philosophy is simple – find the right loan product at a competitive price, provide realistic expectations and ensure on-time closing. I have developed a loyal following of customers who won’t make a move without me because I’ve fulfilled the trust they have placed in me and have never let them down. I have worked hard to develop this standard of excellence and make it my personal motto – life is in the details, and it shows. I personally stay involved in the transactions from beginning to end and personally manage all transactions. In the early 1990s, I served as president of the Arizona Mortgage Bankers Association and was named Tucson Association of Realtors Affiliate Member of the Year in 1985. I have a BA and MBA from the University of Illinois. I have been married for 39 years, have three grown children and two granddaughters. I enjoy reading, visiting my family, and am a sports enthusiast, having spent 25 years as a soccer official before retiring in 2012.
