About Charley Kellogg
Charles “Charley” Kellogg rejoins the team at Embrace after a few years’ hiatus — and we’re glad he’s come back “home.” While he was away, he worked at Movement Mortgage, where he was both a branch manager and mortgage officer. He’ll now service the purchase and refinance mortgage needs of Ameriprise clients and advisors through Embrace’s Financial Institutions Group (FIG). Charley grew up in Darien, Connecticut and currently lives in Westerly, Rhode Island. He received his BS degree from Northeastern University and graduated cum laude, and he’s received a variety of notable awards for his service and participation in his community. Some of them include the United States Senate Certificate of Accomplishment, from the office of US Senator Jack Reed; the State of Rhode Island Senate Citation, from the office of RI State Senator Dennis Algiere; and the Youth Development Award, presented by the Ocean Community YMCA — a nonprofit he staunchly supports. Gus and Poppy, his 16-year-old son and a 14-year-old daughter, are his whole world. And in his free time, Charley prefers being active outdoors, especially, hiking, mountain biking, surfing, and golf. He also enjoys four wheeling. His idea of the perfect day would include spending time with friends and family, topped off with a long fitness walk on the beach at sunset.
