About Douglas Ridder
MEET DOUG RIDDER
Prior to his 26 years as a mortgage loan originator, Doug was in the Marine Corps, ran heavy equipment working for his father's contracting business and skied professionally (ski patrol, racer and instructor). He grew up in Grand Junction and was fortunate to call both Aspen and Durango home before moving to the Denver Metro area where he began his career in the real estate title business. His unique background has given him numerous skills and expertise that facilitate his dedication to provide his clients with world-class service and utmost care while helping them achieve their financial goals. Doug never hesitates to go the extra mile - whether collecting documents after hours, using his skills as a builder and craftsman to fix nearly anything, or connecting with clients and referral partners in a professional and efficient manner - Doug makes sure the job gets done.
WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT DOUG
Doug studied engineering for the first few years of college then finished with a degree in Business. He has strong logic and natural mechanical abilities and is often called upon by friends and family in need of his help with everything from setting up a computer to building a deck to repairing a car. He and his wife love cars and often hit the road towards Southwestern Colorado to explore the mountains, magnificent scenery and twisty roads.
HERE ARE A FEW MORE THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT DOUG
Not only is Doug handy with just about any tool, he's also a music fan, playing both drums and guitar - a true "rocker"! When not making his own music, Doug listens to Dan Fogelberg, Richard Marx, Journey, Def Leopard and Metallica.
Long time residents of Parker, he and his wife enjoy spending time with friends (many of whom are former clients) and their three grown children, vacationing on a sandy beach, boating, motorcycling, golfing and of course, skiing.
Words Doug lives by: "Treat everyone the way you would like to be treated." And, "It doesn't do any good to raise a ruckus. Just work together to figure out a solution and solve the problem."
