People want a house. They don't have all the money to buy it. They can easily be confused about the regulatory and arbitrary conflagration of guidelines and compliance rules to get a mortgage -- to say nothing of choosing the best one --- which entails reviewing all of the options available -- for their family.
I like to help. My team is the best at having the lowest conditions (less work for clients), and least submissions through the process (better service through faster closings) -- while providing great rates, programs and fees (we never lose a deal for price) -- AND we have a perfect compliance record (called a "HUD compare ratio" : means my company doesn't have to charge more for folks messing up the regulations and getting fined). Speaking of fees, we don't have them -- not from us.
So, since 1/2/99, I've figured out the balance.
I am a loan officer, which means that I solve problems you did not know you have, in ways that you may not understand (remember: quasi-government agencies set the rules now).
Service means something different in my industry that the internet, or part-time bank employees cannot understand. I don't cost more to use, you just get more value.
