About Joshua Colvin
I am a Mortgage Loan Officer with Highlands Residential Mortgage. I have been in the mortgage industry since August of 2018. Prior to entering the mortgage world, I attended Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, AR where I earned my Bachelor’s in Criminology in 2010. I then decided to continue to graduate school at ASU Jonesboro and completed my second Bachelor degree in Sociology and my Master’s degree in Public Administration in 2012. After College, I entered the Law Enforcement field in 2013. I joined the Arkansas Department of Community Correction as a Parole and Probation Officer. I served in that capacity for 3 years supervising felony offenders in White and Prairie Counties. I then transitioned to the position of Patrol Officer with the Cabot Police Department. I served the community of Cabot for 3 years as a patrolman. While I was still patrolling the streets of Cabot, I was offered the opportunity to become a Mortgage Loan Officer part time. After 6 months of being a part time Loan Officer, I decided to make it a full time career. I now dedicate 100% of my time to offering my customers the best home buying experience possible. I pride myself on being very thorough on the front end of the home buying process so that the rest of the process can run as smoothly as possible and close on time. It would by my privilege to represent you during your home purchase!
