Judy has a strong background in Construction lending, 203k and Homestyle Renovation financing, Rural Housing, VA, Conventional, FHA, Jumbo, THDA and Manufactured Home financing. She's worked with thousands of first time homebuyers, experienced buyers and investors during her 30 years in lending. The needs of each type of borrower is unique. Her goal is to provide the highest level of service possible, and at a level of communication appropriate to each borrower. Judy grew up in a small community in Palm Beach County, Florida. She began working at the age of 14 in food service and retail, and at the age of 20 she secured a position with a new local branch of a well-established savings and loan. With her attention to detail, and desire to assist her customers with any aspect of financial need, Judy excelled in each area of branch operation from teller/savings counselor to consumer lending and residential loan processing. She enrolled at Northwood University, attending college until she earned her Associate in Business Management in 1987. Buying her first home at 24, she was convinced of the value of home ownership. She obtained her Mortgage Broker License and began her career in brokering so she could provide financial options to more families. With her experience assisting builders at the Savings and Loan, and the on-going building boom in South Florida, she easily fell into construction lending. Judy became branch manager for a mortgage broker in West Palm Beach and then moved to Nashville, TN in 1993 where she opened a branch office. In 1995, she started her own brokerage company in Lebanon, where she gained further experience in serving both Rural and Urban communities with their various needs. After 15 years, she saw the benefit to joining a larger retail shop so she could focus solely on her customers and their needs. She became an expert at 203k Renovation with AmeriFirst and brought that experience to a leading lender in Middle TN and other markets, FCM/Human Mortgage, in 2014. Judy is passionate about supporting the needs of the community. she is an active member of College Hills Church of Christ where she participates in edification, teaches Sundays and Wednesdays in Children’s Ministry, and conducts New Life Behavior (Christians Against Substance Abuse) classes for the women inmates at the Wilson County Jail with her husband, David, and is an active member of Eastern Star.
