About Kea Blevins
When my family moved to North Carolina from Georgia in 2010, the Loan Officer who helped us buy our home offered me a job. That’s when I fell in love with the mortgage process! I went from a part-time closing coordinator to a full-time Loan Officer. Then in 2016, I took a leap of faith and stepped away from the team to go out on my own. In less than two years, I was promoted to Branch Manager and began building my own team. I love this wild and crazy ride today just as much, if not more, than when I started! As a Branch Manager, customer service is a top priority for my team. Our #1 goal is to take what can be a stressful experience and make sure it is smooth sailing from start to finish. There is nothing more rewarding than helping someone purchase a new home or refinance into better terms that will help their family. We want to be lifelong mortgage advisors to our clients, and we work hard to help them navigate credit issues, buy their first home, buy their move-up home or vacation home, and help them refinance when it makes sense for them. We communicate clearly in everyday terms so that our clients understand what they are doing and never have to wonder what is happening with their loan. We keep our referral partners in the loop as well because we understand that it takes a TEAM to make things happen and we don't take their trust in us lightly. Born in SC, I am blessed that I still get to spend time with family in my hometown. My family moved to GA when I was in 5th grade, where I spent most of my life. I met my amazing husband, Eric, in GA, and we raised our children, Eva and Ethan, there until 2009 when Eric was transferred to the Raleigh area. There is a piece of my heart in all three states – SC, GA, and NC – because each one shaped who I am today. Therefore, I am licensed to help friends and family in all three of my "home" states. I love my family and get a kick out of watching my "children" (now 17 and 22) spread their wings. I am a big believer in water therapy and have many happy memories of growing up at Lake Greenwood in SC. So, we recently splurged on a little getaway on the Pamlico River and spend quite a bit of time there on the weekends. I love to be on the lookout for dolphins, rays, otters - you name it! My husband is my favorite travel buddy, and we do our best to take a couple of trips together each year to unplug and recharge. This is a demanding business and, in my opinion, you have to love it in order to be truly successful. The joy of helping someone change their life through home ownership is my Why each and every day. I never want to lose the personal connection that this career allows me to have with referral partners and clients.
