About Kelsi Smith
I am a mother of three kids, a boy and two girls. I am very active in my children’s life by volunteering my time in many areas – including school functions and sports. I enjoy coaching and watching my kids participate in athletics as well as helping in their education. I started in the mortgage business in 2006 after being a stay at home mom. I was originally hired as a mortgage loan processor and was “thrown to the fire.” This experience forced me to learn the ins and outs of the mortgage industry quickly. After a year of processing, I became a Mortgage Loan Originator that specialized in FHA, VA, Conventional, and Rural Development loans. In 2011, I joined Primary Residential Mortgage which provided the opportunity to expand my knowledge and services into First-Time Homebuyer Grants, 203K loans, FHA Energy Efficient Loans, and other specialty loans. Over the years I have continued to work between originating loans, processing loans, and even Junior Underwriting duties when needed. I enjoy working for a company that has high goals, flexibility, and support for its employees. I believe it is my job to educate clients on all the options they have, not just tell them what to do. By giving a little “Mortgage 101,” I find that clients are able to make a better decision on what is right for their budget and family. I enjoy knowing all sides of the mortgage industry which makes it possible for me to communicate constantly throughout the loan process, making what can be complicated, easy. I love what I do!! Specialties: FHA Loans, VA Loans, Conventional Loans, Rural Development Loans, FHA Energy Efficient Loans, KHRC First-Time Homebuyer Loans and more Process Management Loan Pipeline Coordinator
