About Marilyn Causey
A native Houstonian with over 25 years of experience in the mortgage lending, Marilyn is a family minded professional wit the experience and compassion needed to guide any client through the home buying process. Marilyn began her career in the banking industry after attending business college, but, in 1993, she moved into the mortgage division of First Interstate Bank and fell in love with the mortgage lending industry. In 1995, Marilyn began working for North American Mortgage and remained there until 2004, when North American Mortgage was sold to Washington Mutual. After deciding to avoid working for a large bank again, Marilyn made the shift to Hometrust Mortgage Company and has been there for 14 years. Marilyn loves working for Hometrust because it is a midsize mortgage company which offers the perfect environment in which to build relationships and demonstrate her excellent customer service skills. Marilyn is passionate about making her clients happy and is committed to helping them meet close dates. Her keen understanding of the current lending environment coupled with her years of experience makes Marilyn an excellent source of clear information and detailed outlines about what to expect throughout the home buying process.
