About Martin Olry
I started in the mortgage industry in 1993 with Home Mortgage, Inc. as a pipeline manager and lender liaison. I stayed with Home Mortgage for 4.5 years until I went into business for myself. I opened Mortgage Plan Financial Services in March of 1998. We were a broker that focused on Conventional, FHA and VA mortgages, and we grew quickly from a company of 2 in 1998 to a company of 17 in 2003. In March of 2009, I sold Mortgage Plan to a correspondent lender by the name of Hallmark Home Mortgage. I started off as the Branch Manager in the Indianapolis area and quickly grew the company. We were the largest volume branch for Hallmark each year since 2009. I was one of the top 5 producing loan officers in each of the 4 years I was with Hallmark, and was number 2 out of 85 in 2012. In May of this year, I was approached by Diamond to open up a branch in the Indianapolis area. After extensively researching the company, I found this to be an opportunity that I just couldn’t pass up. The strength of the company, in terms of product, price, and, most importantly, people, made this an easy decision. Since I started in September, 2013, I have been extremely happy with my decision. My wife Kim and I just celebrated our 27th wedding anniversary last month. We have 2 boys. Kyle is a Senior at Indiana University. He is currently studying Exercise Science. Matthew is a Junior at Fishers High school. During my spare time I like to stay active playing tennis and golf.
