About Marty Flichel
I was born and raised in a small town in Canada and started playing hockey at the age of 4. I signed my first professional hockey contract with the Dallas Stars in 1994 and played 16 professional seasons, finishing my career with the Idaho Steelheads. My wife and I moved to Boise in 2002 and we fell in love with the city and the people here. We decided that this was where we wanted to spend the rest of our lives and start a family and have two wonderful girls Brinley and Rylee. While playing hockey I owned and operated a landscaping business, which has been a successful career as well. In 2016, I decided I needed to find something that I was really passionate about. From the relationships I built through playing hockey and owning a landscaping business I thought a great avenue for me would be getting involved in the lending business. I consider myself a very honest person who will work hard for you. I have an extremely hard work ethic and as an ex athlete I know what it takes to. The Boise community has embraced us and we feel so blessed to be Idahoans. Thank you Idaho and friends for your support and the opportunity to serve you!
