About Matthew Vanfossen
Matthew has been with the AHMC team since 2011 serving as both the COO and the Director of Retail Operations. With a unique background that includes an expertise in operation systems and programming as well as strong experience in the mortgage business, Matt brings invaluable perspective and insight to AHMC’s management team and his versatility allows him to fill the "utility knife" role of the management team. Over the past decade Matt has built a reputation as an expert in centralized management as he has successfully built and managed multiple entities in a multitude of industries including mortgage, real estate, insurance and technology. His expansive daily duties as the COO of AHMC include supervision of all licensing & compliance, technical support, human resources, accounting, office management, branch operations and marketing & branding Matt provides crucial leadership in the processing and handling of all loan officer licensing (MU4), branch licensing (MU3) and corporate licensing (MU2). By creating and maintaining a paperless licensing document system, Matt is able to manage the license status of anywhere up to 200 simultaneous employees. As a specialist in the creation and implementation of web based virtual office environments, Matt handles all technical support issues and projects. His duties in this area include setting up and managing the AHMC email server, operating system, digital meetings using Citrix’s Go to Meeting software and digital document organization & preservation through Lucion File Center. Additionally, this includes the setup of all workstations (including the building and replacing of computer hardware), handling of all workstation support, fax server maintenance, phone system maintenance, e-mail server and file sharing server maintenance. Responsible for AHMC’s ever-growing branch platform, Matt has developed an easy to use and efficient environment that is attractive to both current and prospective branches of AHMC. With strong production, easy & accessible training, custom system integrations and frequent webinars branch approval, management and growth have become a seamless process under Matt’s leadership. With a combination of his creativity and technological skill set, Matt is responsible for all of AHMC’s custom marketing material (both digital and print), corporate and branch websites, investor presentations, logo integration, internal corporate newsletter as well as the overall corporate appearance and brand maintenance. Other day-to-day duties for Matt include overseeing the corporate help desk (file support, DU findings, 1003 issues, understanding investor guidelines and web portals), the human resources department and the company’s internal accounting tasks. Prior to his time at AHMC, Matt served in a similar capacity as the COO of United Capital Lenders in Southampton, PA from 2007 to 2011.
