About Ray Ramirez
Ray has 18 years of employee benefits insurance consulting and account management experience. He began his insurance career 1999 as a lead provider services liaison with American Specialty Health Plans. He found insurance to be a lucrative industry with plenty of room to grow into. Since then Ray has been part of various reputable firms, including one of his previous roles as an employee benefits consultant for a national top 5 agency. Ray had overall responsibility for the partnership between his clients and the agency. He oversaw the day-to-day operations of his client service teams which was tasked with the assessment, design and implementation benefit strategies aligned with each client's unique organizational objectives. He has been successful in identifying key risk exposures that reduce costs and ensure overall compliance. His industries of expertise include government contractors, information technology, engineering/architecture, financial institutions, non-profits and mortgage/real estate firms. Throughout his career Ray, has proven to be a leader among his peers and colleagues and always holds a high degree of professionalism. As a team leader he provides the energy, support, and unselfish time to meet the demands of a consultant in today's era. Ray's focus on creating a culture of teamwork and pride for the betterment of his clients and colleagues stems from his inherent desire to solve problems and share in successes. As a single father, Ray spends much of his time raising his three children and keeping up with all their various activities they’re are involved in. He and his family may also be found taking in the occasional movie at the drive-in or hiking one of the many peaks and canyons of San Diego County.
