About Sam Krueger
Sam has been a leading Home Loan Strategist in the East Bay since 2003. Sam opened the Kensington/Berkeley branch of Pinnacle Capital Mortgage - now Pinnacle Home Loans - in 2014 and has been recognized as one of the top mortgage professionals in the Bay Area the past four years, earning President’s Club recognition each year. With a full-time Loan Coordinator on his team and local control, Sam is perfectly positioned to help his clients navigate the most competitive purchase market in the country. For Sam, the greatest reward is forming long lasting relationships with his clients and welcoming them to the East Bay community. Prior to his lending career, Sam taught English in France for two years and then worked for a quantitative portfolio management consulting firm in Berkeley. His background in education and finance enables him to expertly explain the nuances of financing choices and clearly articulate the home lending process. Sam graduated Summa Cum Laude with Highest Honors from Brandeis University in Boston. Sam has lived in the East Bay since 1983 and appreciates its unique lifestyle and cultural diversity. He is deeply involved in the community. Sam and Pinnacle are major sponsors of the Richmond’s YES Nature to Neighborhoods which provides youth, adults and families living in Richmond and surrounding West Contra Costa County access to experiences in the natural environment. He was a member of the City of El Cerrito’s Environmental Quality Committee for six years, where he assisted with environmental policy and organizing Green events. He is a member of many environmental organizations such as the Sierra Club, NRDC, and others. Sam loves spending time with his wife Catherine and two daughters, and exploring the great natural treasures of California as an avid hiker, cyclist and skier.
