Stacy G London is a 38 year seasoned professional and designated certified mortgage consultant (CMC), industry’s highest designation. Most recently, she was with Homeowners Financial, as a Regional Manager. Prior to Homeowners, she was president of Houston Capital Mortgage for 21 years, a local well-respected lender. Her referral based clientele become clients for life after experiencing her unique personal service, educational skills and organizational excellence. Throughout her career, Stacy has been committed to giving back through public service. In 2008, she was appointed to the Finance Commission of Texas, as the State’s mortgage representative. She was reappointed to a second six year term in 2014. Stacy served as Chairman of the Commission from February 2016 until November 2018, appointed by Governor Abbott. She was the first mortgage member to serve as Chairman and second female chair in the Commission’s history. The Finance Commission regulates Texas banking, thrifts, mortgage and consumer finance industries. Previously, she served 1999-2006 on the Texas Savings and Mortgage Lending’s Advisory Board. Stacy has served on various boards and charitable organizations over the years. Stacy regularly educates the Houston Real Estate industry as a TREC approved instructor. She is a frequent public speaker on the mortgage industry. She earned her Bachelor’s from University of Texas at Austin and Master’s in Finance from University of Houston. Having raised her son Jeremy in Memorial, she remains there with husband Robert and rescue dogs Forest and Bobik. She’s an avid Houston Rockets fan, season ticket holder since 1994 and enjoys live music, theatre and the arts.
