About Susan Smith
With over three decades of experience in the mortgage industry, Loan Officer Susan Smith uses her expertise to ensure her clients get the support and education they need to successfully achieve homeownership. She is passionate about helping her Florida neighbors achieve their financial goals and successfully get into their dream homes, and works with those clients who might need extra help and support to get their credit in good standing. Susan specializes in working with first-time homebuyers and individuals who are self-employed. She offers a full line of flexible loan products including FHA, VA, USDA Rural Development, conventional and renovation mortgages. And, with a strong background in operations, Susan understands exactly what it takes to get a loan through the system, and the problems that can occur if a loan isn’t processed correctly. Her customers appreciate that she provides frequent communication, is quick to resolve unexpected hurdles and delivers dependable and professional service. In her free time, she enjoys playing the piano, writing a book and spending time with her family - three daughters and two grandchildren. Committed to supporting her community, she is also a member of the Gainesville Area Women’s Network, Good Morning Gainesville and the VFW Auxiliary.
