About Tricia Kohn
I entered the mortgage business in 2001 as a Wholesale Account Executive in Florida. I moved to North Carolina in 2006 and absolutely could not be happier with my decision to be a part of The Mortgage Firm team. They were the perfect fit for me with the emphasis they put on the “customer experience”. That vision is very aligned with my own. The customer always comes first. I make myself available nights and weekends as I know that is sometimes necessary to accommodate my client’s busy work and family schedules. I consider myself a mortgage loan expert. I enjoy figuring out the puzzle on complex loan scenarios which is another strong suit of our company. If there is a way to get a deal done, Equity Prime Mortgage and I will find a way! I’ve worn many hats at large and small organizations from Insurance B2B Sales Agent to Regional Sales Manager | Account Executive and appreciate the realities faced by management staff and junior employees. In reaching for any interim goal, it is essential to understand the complete vision and goal of an organization, and then to drive resources to complete and achieve those objectives. I am especially interested in bringing my expertise to a growth minded organization, helping to improve current practices and policies to optimize organization operations. What I’ve learned at small and large organizations in the realm of mortgage loan origination is extremely valuable to all organizations. I have four children and seven grandchildren whom I love dearly. I have been married to my loving husband, Jim, for 25 years. My family is a strong supporter of the U. S. military. Two of my sons, two sons-in-law, and a daughter-in-law served in the Marines and Army.
